Long time ago in
the distant Kingdom of Cantasia in the far west of England, lived a mighty,
handsome, kind and brave King named Christopher. King Christopher was a
well-known King who comqured every country he has engaged with and further
expanded his Kingdom to the far south of Europe.
“I have to go back
to the castle as soon as possible!” said the King. “Why your majesty you are in
a hurry?” asked his trusted general Dufort. “My wife is about to give birth to
my child.” He drove with his horse all the way back to the castle. He was very
ecstatic to see his wife holding with her his child. If boy to be named
Christof and of girl be named as Christine. He was in sudden wonder why the
entire Kingdom was in deep silence. The King was expecting a warm welcome for
him in his successful conquest against the Kingdom in the far South of Europe.
However, a bad news welcomed him and despair and terror came into his sanity.
Upon his entrance
to the room, everyone was stopping him from going inside the room where his
wife gave birth. “Your majesty, here is your son “Christof.” His angelic face
was so alluring that immediately caught the Kings tensioned eyes. He suddenly
forgot her wife and focused on his little angel, Christof. However, after an
hour of observing the innocent sleep of the baby, he finally went to a realization
of looking for her wife. He placed the baby to his cabin and went straight to
the room where his wife gave birth.
“Your majesty I’m
really very sorry!” said the midwife of the Queen. He hastily went to the bed
and saw the cadaver of his wife. The red rosy cheeks of his wife still fresh
and the face filled with satisfaction with no marks of guilt pictured the looks
and dead remains of the King’s wife. He fell down into his knees and cried to
the upmost grief and sorrow. The King’s face was filled with gigantic burden
which he didn’t ever felt before. The sorrow and the pain of the Kingdom
started with the death of the beautiful and enchanting Queen of Cantasia.
The Kingdom was
surrounded by sudden sadness and made the King stop conquering Kingdoms. He
felt that all of these things were of no worth due to the loss of his queen.
Years passed by and Christof grew into a handsome, noble, brave, kind and
gentleman. He was admired by many, but his father could not do so. He
understood that the reason why the King was too far from him was because he was
blamed to be the cause of his mother’s death. The good thing about Christof was
that he never developed anger and loved his father more than the King could
ever imagine.
Prince Christof was
fond of going to the woods secretly to hunt. He loves to see the nature touch
of the woods, including the mild flow of the waters beneath it. At the very end
of the forest there was this creepy and cold place where no plant could ever
grow and no animal could ever survive. The place was always at winter and the
area was all but in the mere white of dead silence and hidden terror. For
Christof’s 20 years of existence, he never tried to engage himself to that
hazardous place. Yet one day he started to become curious of it, every time he
visits the woods to hunt.
On the hottest
season of the year summer, SUMMER, he unexpectedly visited the woods and in the
middle his trip he decided to shift to the forbidden wilderness. As he was
going closer to the endless white and cold land, he saw a small hill nearby a
dead hallow tree. A small shining hut filled with diamonds stones all around
its walls and its windows were made of gold amazed his eyes. The door was
splendidly carved out from a white oak tree that grows only once in a millennium.
He was amazed upon
the beautiful spot and so he drew nearer. When Christof opened the door, he saw
an old but magnificently clothed woman. “Oh! Young boy come in I have been
waiting for you for quiet years.” “Why would you wait for a simple guy like….
Me?” “I should not be here!” he added. “I have to go!” “Wait young boy, I have
nothing against you!” “I know that the King has forbidden every single villager
to come here for they say that this was a cursed land.” But the truth was that
this land was actually the consequence of what your father did long time ago.
“I can’t understand can you elaborate more?” “Okay let’s be seated.”
“Before your father
became the King, King Edgar wanted your father to marry the princess of
Estalgia, Princess Ayana, however, King Christopher met Randalya, your mother
who was said to be the daughter of the great evil conqueror Levid. Levid was
connected to dark magic of which the opposite to his daughter Randalya. Your
father, King Christopher loved Randalya so much and so they married even if
it’s against the belief and culture of the Kingdom.” Levid was at rage upon
knowing this; however, he has no right to step on the blessed land “Cantasia”
due to his black magic.
For Levid’s
revenge, he cursed his own daughter that at the time of her first birth she’ll
die. And that was absolutely what happened. Yet wait! There was this hidden
part of the story, the place where my hut was placed, was placed was actually a
part of Levid’s curse. This was the old Kingdom of Cantasia that was cursed
from a land of warm and life to a land of cold and death. The bad thing was
part of it was to repeat itself. “What do you mean?” “You, being the King’s
heir shall love another cursed being that will destroy the entire Kingdom.”
“This is ridiculous!”
“I have to leave!” “No please I’m not yet done boy!” Christof hastily went away
the hut and ran back to the woods. Upon his arrival to the castle, he asked his
father about what the old woman shared to him. The King was honest and agreed
to what he said. In his, guilt, he went away secretly without informing his
father about his sudden decision. On his journey, Christof met another lady who
was also a traveller. Her name was Katarina. Katarina was a bit strange
however, the first time Christof has set his eyes on her; he immediately fell
in love with her enchanting beauty. Katarina in return fell in love as well
with him.
For years they were
together, and soon they decided to marry. During their time together Christof
was happy and satisfied about their marriage. Yet he was in doubt of why once
in a month, Katarina disappears without
signs and comes back the next day. If Christof would ask her she would just
reply that she just went away to run an errand for his boss nearby town. “One
night, she went out secretly not knowing that Christof was following her. He
was into great surprise when he saw what Katarina what actually was doing. He
thought that she was kissing the man, but he was mistaken. Blood flowed within
the neck of the victim. He was so afraid and run as fast as he can yet he was
on surprise when in just an split of a second, Katarina was already on his
front filled with blood in her face. She was smiling. “I know that you are
following me!” “I can sense it.” I know everything that you do and I think now
is the right time to reveal my true identity. “I am vampire!” The girl that you
love is a monster. “You know how much I loved you!” “I will do everything just
for you.” Turn me as one of you. “I tell you it’s hard, the lust for blood will
take years to control it!” “I don’t care!”
Friday the
thirteenth (13) of that month they performed the ritual. Christof drunk the
blood of Katarina and became a vampire. For years, they transferred from one
place to another due to no self-control of Christof to human blood. Two years
later, he heard the news that his father King Christopher was about to die. So
he decided to go back to the Kingdom of Cantasia. The blood of people around
him was like a heroine drug for him, yet with the help of Katarina, he managed
to control it. As he faced his father, he was sad and asked forgiveness and his
father eventually forgiven him and died. The King was just waiting for his
return.
One night in the
Kingdom a man was running with blood all around his body and dropped by the
newly King, Christof. He couldn’t stop himself and devoured the body of that
stranger. The sad thing about blood lust was that, once you’re fed, you can’t
stop unless the sun rises. Christof slayed all the people inside the village in
just one night and when he woke up, he saw Katarina crying chained in front of
the Cathedral. “We have to die, we must end this curse!” I regret for turning
you, I ruined your life. “I’m really very sorry.” “I know I have to die, but
you have to stay Katarina you are good, you’ve been in this world for more than
500 hundred years. “No, as the sun rises we must die!”
The vampires were slaves
of the sun. They will die out of the suns light. As the light reveals the
nightmare, death slowly ended the lives of these two detrimental beings and
soon the light corrupted their bodies and burned like no other. At the end they
shouted each other’s love. The love of both Kings were ended in a sad and
tragic end, yet filled with love and sacrifices.
